Alaşehir
Alaşehir is located in the eastern part of the Gediz Plain, which is one of the east-west oriented plains in Western Anatolia in the Inner Aegean Region. Its area is 977 km². The district consists of a graben through which the Alaşehir Stream flows and quite high plateaus and mountains bordering it from the south and north. The economy of the district is based on agriculture, animal husbandry and industry.
