Alpu
Alpu is a district of Eskişehir province in the Central Anatolia Region. Meerschaum, which is only mined in Eskişehir in Turkey, is extracted from the old name Sepetçi Yeni Beyazaltın district of this district. It is located on the Alpu Plain, which is surrounded by the city center in the west, Sarıcakaya in the northwest, Beylikova in the east, Mahmudiye in the south and Ankara province border in the north. Alpu district is located on a rapid transportation network due to the fact that it is located on the Mihalıççık-Beylikova-Eskişehir highways and Ankara-Eskişehir railways.
