Amasra
Amasra is a district of Bartın province in the Western Black Sea Region.
Amasra, which has a promontory protruding towards the sea, two coves that serve as sheltered harbors on both sides of the promontory, and independent islands connected to the mainland, Amastris in antiquity, has a 3000-year-old history, local arts based on both charm and fishing, and a forest area surrounding it. Amasra is still a tourism region with original fish restaurants, hotels and hostels.
Amasra hosts a lot of local tourists especially in the summer months due to its proximity to Ankara.
