Anatolian Kavağı
Anadolu Kavağı is a neighborhood in the Beykoz district of Istanbul province. Located on the northern shore of the Bosphorus, the neighborhood stands out for being a touristic fishing town and a quiet neighborhood away from the city. Yoros Castle, dating from the Eastern Roman period, located on the top of the neighborhood, at a point dominating the connection point between the Marmara Sea and the Black Sea, is the mainstay of the neighborhood's tourism. Another touristic element is the neighborhood's fish restaurants and kiosks selling snacks such as waffles. Thanks to these, the neighborhood attracts many more tourists than its population during the summer months. During the summer season, there are ferries with live music called Mehtap Gezisi (Mehtap Cruise) departing from Bostancı on Saturdays and returning to Anadolu Kavağı in the evening.15A buses departing from Kavacık and arriving at Anadolu Kavağı via Kanlıca-Çubuklu-Paşabahçe-Beykoz, and City Lines boats departing from Sarıyer and Üsküdar are available from Ortaçeşme by land.
