Araklı
It is a district of Trabzon.
After the Pazarcık location, which is within the borders of our district, was declared a first-degree tourism region by the Ministry of Tourism, the interest in the region increased even more. Every year, visitors come to the region both from the local people of Trabzon and from neighboring provinces.
Pazarcık is the most popular area especially for the people of Trabzon living outside the city. In parallel with this intense interest, new facilities were built in the region to meet basic needs such as accommodation and similar. Thus, new employment areas were created. Highland tourism has now become a new source of economic vitality for the people of Arakli. Although it does not have a great impact at the stage we have reached, plateau tourism is developing rapidly.
Also, about 3 km away from Araklı towards Trabzon, there is the historical Kalecik Castle, which is an extension of the Canayer Castle.
