Ardanuç

Ardanuç is the town and center of Artvin province, at the eastern end of the Black Sea Region. The name Ardanuç comes from the Georgian Artanuci. Ardanuç city is one of the oldest settlements of the historical Klarceti region. It was one of the important centers of the Georgian dynasty Bagrationi in the Middle Ages.
