Arıcak
Arıcak district is a district of Elazığ province in the Eastern Anatolia Region. There are 16 villages and 2 towns in total. Akdaglar, connected to the Taurus mountain range, stretches in the north. The continental climate is dominant in the district, which is adjacent to Diyarbakır from the south and Bingöl to the east. The vegetation is oak. While its old name was Merivan, Karabegan, it was changed to Arıcak after the 1960s. It was made a district in 1987.
