Arifiye
Arifiye is located in the south of Adapazarı and east of Sapanca Lake. There is Hanlı Town and Nehirkent Town in the east of Arifiye, Sapanca Lake and Sapanca county border in the west, D-100 Highway and Adapazarı in the north, and Akçay Village of Sapanca in the south. Arifiye Municipality was connected to Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, which was established on 06.03.2000, as a first-tier municipality. In 2005, Ahmediye, İlimbey, Karaçam, Şerefiye and Nuriosmaniye villages were connected to Arifiye Municipality as forest villages[4]
