Babadağ

It is a region of Denizli. The region is one of the regions of Turkey that makes a living with textile. Since the agricultural areas were small, they were directed to the production of folk textiles. Chestnut, meat closure, meat turn and keskek is one of the local dishes.

It was founded near the ancient Attu city. Attuda (Hisarkayın) is thought to be the city of Lydia. It is currently considered a city -protected area. Boludzü Ancient City in the northeast of Bekirler village was founded. The ancient city of trapezopolis depends on the state of Pacatia Prima in Rome, Phrygia [Phrygia].

Babadaoğ became a region in 1877 and 9 villages in 1988. There are 12 neighborhoods of Babadağ.

The region has a history of 700 years. His first name is "Beşikkaya"; Babadaoğ was then elected Kadikkeri (Kadıkör). This name is one of the people in the past; It is said that the person is trained and taken as a kadi. The region broke a record as a village in Magnificent Süleyman's 1528 title title deed book. The same records include Hisar, Ahilı and Ooğuzlar villages. With the arrival of the railway, the palace region becomes Kadıkör Sub -District. The name of Kadıken begins to create confusion with Kadıkör from Istanbul in Istanbul postal works. For this reason, the region was inspired by the mountain in 1935, called "Babadag".

The built -in population of the Regional Center is around 4000. He migrated around 2000 in 10 years. The reason for this is that textile production is based on contract production without sitting on a solid ground and based on crises in textile. However, instead of migrating to work in industrial regions from the surrounding regions and provinces today. Some of the inhabitants are engaged in weaving the population of the population, knitting from the traditional father's weaving. Another part is to contribute to nostalgic old hand stalls adopted by local and foreign tourists.
