Babaeski
Babaeski is the district of Kırklareli. Babaeski is a district of Kırklareli, in the Thrace part of the Marmara Region. There is the Merkez district in the north, Lüleburgaz in the east, Pehlivanköy in the southwest, Tekirdağ in the south and Edirne in the west. It is a small city settlement. Agriculture and industry are the main sources of livelihood. The lands of the district are in the Ergene Plain, and there are hardly any high areas and mountains. The extensions of the Yıldız Mountains, whose height does not exceed 150 m, make the northern part of the district rough. These are the main elevations of Babaeski. The Ergene Plain is a very wide plain irrigated by the Ergene River. There are also large and small plains with heights varying between 50 and 150 m. All these plains constitute the agricultural areas of the district. A part of the Ergene River irrigates the lands of the district. Apart from this, there are also Kavak Creek and Devil Creek.
