Bahçe

Bahçe is a district of Osmaniye province. Located in the Cilicia Region in Antiquity, the Garden was within the borders of the Hittite Kingdom of Carchemish in 1000 BC and was founded on the ruins of a castle. The district, formerly known as Bulanık, was rebuilt after the proclamation of the Republic, the Çukurova region and Bahçe, the municipal organization was established in 1933, and it became a district of Adana. After Osmaniye became a province in 1996, it was taken from Adana and connected to Osmaniye. The district is under the Mediterranean climate. The fact that the district is surrounded by mountains causes the temperature to drop and the amount of rain to increase. Winters are a little harsher than the Mediterranean climate. Precipitation is in the form of rain.
