Bahçesaray
While it was a sub-district (subdistrict) of the Pervari District of Siirt, in 1964 it became a district in the Gevaş District of Van Province. It is located in a narrow area with a surface area of 474 km2, at an altitude of 1670 meters above sea level, 110 km from the city center, surrounded by steep, high mountains and hills with harsh terrain and natural conditions. Çatak in the east, Hizan in the west, Gevaş in the north and Pervari in the south.
