Baklan

Abdi Bey is the founder of Baklan. This tribe set out from Khorasan and came to Konya transfer via Baghdad. Konya, the founder of the Ottoman Empire, which settled in Bursa region, after Konya. Abdi Bey represents the tribe that settled in Denizli-Baklan via Afyonkarahisar.

It can be said that Baklan started with the history of the Turks in Denizli for the Turks. Hüsamamettin Dede Çal, Baklanli, was under the command of GÜPAMETTİN DEDE to conquer the region to Alaşehir. GÜFAMETTİN DEDE participated in the Miryokefalon War (1176), which was wounded in this war that allowed Anatolia to rule the Turks.

There is a grave of grandfather in the region. The grave of the Dede Dede at the entrance of the old cemetery. It is seen that the grave has Seljuk architectural characteristics.

Baklan Simple Irrigation Project is the second largest project after the Harran Straight irrigation project. Wet and cereal cultivation is large and small head animal husbandry.

As a transportation to Baklan, the direction of Denizli -Kara Road is going. After returning to the direction of Çivril Uşak from the junction of Kaklik, Baklan is reached from 11 km from the intersection.
