Balya
Balya is a district of Balikesir Province.
It is famous for its butter. Its population has decreased in recent years. While the population was 36,000 in the past, the industry has declined. Industries such as ceramic factories, especially mining, were closed. As a result of this, many Balyalı left the district. However, plans to establish mines and factories continue in the following years.
