Baskil

Baskil is a town in the Eastern Anatolia Region of the province of Elazığ and the city that is the center of the district. Transportation is provided from Elazığ by road and from Malatya by ferry services at regular intervals. The Black Stork Canyon, which is suitable for nature tourism, is located in Baskil district. Among the cultural assets of the district; Abdulvahap Tomb, Zeynep Tomb, Hasan Baba Tomb, Delivery Abdal Tomb and Cemetery, Musar Mountain Church and Gündoğdu Hill. There is also the historical Mar Ahron monastery close to the Euphrates River .
