Baykan
Baykan District was established in Tütencak, which is still a village connected to the District Center, with the law dated 1938 and numbered 3393. In 1949, the District Center was transferred to the "Havil Hanları" Mevkii, which has a historical past, located on the Diyarbakır-Bitlis state highway. Later, the name of the district was changed to Baykan.
