Bayrampaşa
Bayrampaşa is a district of Istanbul province. It is surrounded by Gaziosmanpaşa in the north, Eyüpsultan in the east, Zeytinburnu in the south, and Esenler in the west. Bayrampaşa, which constituted 4.11% of Istanbul's population in 1970, had a share of 2.44% in 2000. Bayrampaşa district has increasing values over the years in terms of population density. It is one of the districts with the highest density value in Istanbul. While its density was 130 ki/ha in 1970, it reached 259 ki/ha in 2000.
