The continental climate is dominant in the district where the Porsuk Stream passes. Precipitation is extremely low and is around 260-300 mm per year. The county seat was established in 1890 by Pomaks from the Bulgarian town of "Byala Slatina". The main economic occupations are agriculture and animal husbandry. There is a science high school in the district. This school is the first and only science high school opened in Eskişehir's districts. However, education in Beylikova is carried out through 1 imam hatip high school, 1 multi-program Anatolian high school, 3 primary schools, 3 secondary schools and 1 kindergarten. A public education center is also available in the district. Beylikova is famous for its milk. A milk festival is held in June-July. A market is held in the town center on Tuesday.
