Çavdarhisar

Çavdarhisar is a district of Kütahya province. It is 58 km from Kütahya. Çavdarhisar, a small town in the Emet district, 37 km away, before gaining a district identity, succeeded to become a district with various efforts and political pressures. It is a town with rich history. There is the ancient city of Aizanoi and the stadium-theatre complex, one of the world's first examples, and the world's first stock exchange. This stock market structure emerged with the demolition of the mosque in the 1970 Gediz earthquake. Apart from that, necropolises, Olympic Tribune Monument, 4 bridges, two of them have been badly restored and are still in use. Apart from this, the Meter Steunne area and tunnel are an important work.
