Çavdır

The district is surrounded by Antalya in the east, Gölhisar and Altınyayla in the west, Tefenni in the north and Muğla in the south. It is 90 km from Burdur city center and Denizli and 115 km from Antalya. It is located at the intersection of Burdur - Antalya - Denizli - Fethiye road routes in terms of settlement. Çavdır district was established on a mountainous land in the Mediterranean - Aegean transition region on the Western Taurus Mountains, there are plain bands between narrow valleys and 54.8% of the land consists of forest and scrub areas. The total area of the district is 485,650 decares, but 28% of it is used as agricultural land. The meadow-pasture land of the district is 21,949 decares and 61,349 decares are composed of village settlements, stony areas and non-agricultural lands.
