Çeltik

Çeltik is a district of Konya Province.

Its distance from Konya city center is 220 km, and it is the second most distant district in Turkey. In addition, although it is a district of Konya province, it has a border with Afyon, Eskişehir and Ankara.

The establishment of the district dates back to the 11th and 12th centuries. According to İbrahim Hakkı Konyalı's book "Konya History", Çeltik's past is based on Akçaşehir, a province of Karaman. It was transferred to Cihanbeyli and became a district in 1990.
