Çemişgezek
Çemişgezek is a district of Tunceli province.With its known history, it is known that Çemişgezek has always been an important settlement and accommodation place. The name of the district is based on the Armenian origin Byzantine emperor Cimiskes. During these years, the Anatolian Seljuk Sultan II of the Saltuklu Principality. After the annexation by Süleyman Shah, Melikşah, son of the last Saltuk ruler Nasreddin Muhammed, withdrew to Çemişgezek and made it the center of the principality. This principality consists of 32 castles and 16 townships.
