Çermik
Cermik is a district of Diyarbakir province. Its former name is Aberna. The district got its current name from the world-famous thermal springs. As of 2006, the central population of Çermik is around 21,000. The population of Çermik district consists of Turkmens, Zazas and Kurds, with the majority being Zazas.
