Çubuk
Çubuk is a district of Ankara. It is 35 km from Ankara city center. The Battle of Ankara, which started the Interregnum in the Ottoman Empire, took place on the Çubuk Plain. Esenboğa International Airport, Turkey's second largest international airport, is located within the borders of the district.
