Derik
The district is located in the West of Mardin Province. It is surrounded by Mazıdağı and Çınar in the north, Kızıltepe in the south and southeast, and Viranşehir in the west. The area of the district is 1367 km2 and it is at an altitude of 780 meters from the sea. The east and southeast of the district are plains and cover 70% of the land.
