Ekinözü
Ekinözü is a district of Kahramanmaraş province.
In the 1800s, the name of the village is encountered as "Celaki" in the correspondence between the Ottoman official institutions. It was later renamed "Cela".
Cela Village, which became a mukhtar with the establishment of the Republic, turned into a town with the establishment of the Municipal Organization in 1958. On January 01, 1983, the name of the town of Cela was changed to "Ekinözü" and it was transformed into a district state with the law numbered 3644 published in the Official Gazette numbered 20523 and May 20, 1990. On September 19, 1991, it actually gained the status of a district.
