Eldivan
Eldivan is a district of Çankırı province.
Eldivan district takes its name from the mountain surrounded by Dümelli plain and Yanlar creek in its north. People call this mountain İldivan Mountain. This mountain became a gathering place for the Turks who spread to Anatolia after 1071 and was called the Divan of Er. Later on, the word changed shape and took the name Eldivan.
