Emet

Emet is a town and district of Kütahya Province, Turkey. It makes an important contribution to thermal tourism with its healing spas. On October 17, 1993, the “Thermal Tourism Zone” was declared by the decision of the Council of Ministers. In addition, the boron mine, which has very few reserves in the world, can be extracted abundantly in this district. In fact, in addition to the fact that about 70% of the world's boron reserves are located in Turkey, more than 50% of the boron in Turkey is located in Emet, this ratio has increased even more thanks to the newly found reserves in the Emet district. In addition to these, one of the acid boric factories, the number of which does not exceed 10 in the world, continues its activities in this district. Emet district, the capital of Boring, makes great contributions to Turkey strategically and economically thanks to the bor mine.
