Güngören
Güngören, which was founded by separating from Bakırköy in 1992, is the smallest district of Istanbul with a surface area. Güngören region, which consisted of only a few villages at first, grew gradually with the immigration from the Balkans and later with internal migrations. Bahçelievler and Bağcılar in the west of the district; Esenler and Zeytinburnu in the east; Bakırköy district is located in the south.
