Güzelyurt
Its old name is Gelveri. The word "Gelveri" is a combination of the Greek words "beautiful" and "water". Gregory of Nenzi, one of the great saints of the Orthodox sect, who worked for the spread of Christianity, made Güzelyurt an important center.
