Hacıbektaş
Hacibektas is a district of Nevşehir Province. It is one of the important centers of Cappadocia. It is surrounded by Avanos in the east, Mucur in the west, Gülşehir in the south and Kozaklı in the north.
After the Turkish thinker Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli came to Anatolia from the city of Nişabur in Horasan and settled in Suluca Karahöyük in the 13th century, the face of the seven-digit village of Hacım changed. Hacı Bektaş-i Veli spread his thoughts by establishing a science center here; After his death, the name of the village was changed to Hacıbektaş in his memory and commemoration.
