Han

Han is a district of Eskişehir province, but is located in the Aegean Region. Its population is one person between 2,100, this is the last of 922 districts. Mühimmende Han, which belongs to the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent, is referred to as Han-Barçın District and it is stated that it has 119 villages. Its borders are the whole of Emirdag, the northern parts of Iscehisar, the whole of Bayat, a part of Sivrihisar and a part of Haymana. Later, it was divided into the network of Emirdağ, which was previously connected, and this district, which was connected to Afyon (today's Afyonkarahisar) in 1963. Later, it was divided into a parish in Çifteler district. The Han, which was connected as a town, gained the status of a town on May 15, 1967, and a district with the Law No. 3644 dated May 20, 1990. Gökçeyayla village, which was previously included in the İscehisar district of Afyonkarahisar province, was connected to the Han district on 16/02/1993. The meaning of Barçın is silkworm breeder, and it is known that nowadays it can be crafted with silk.
