Harmancık
Its old name is Çardı. The district was a part of the Eastern Roman/Byzantine Empire until the conquest of the Ottomans, and after 1261 it was governed by a Byzantine monopoly. The discovery of the beak spout dating back to 3000 BC during the opening of the irrigation canal in the mill front area near the Kepekdere neighborhood (which has become a neighborhood), which is 2 km away from the district, has strengthened the opinion that the history of Harmancık has a history of at least 5000 years. The name of the neighborhood, which was the town center of Harmancık in the past, was Çardı. The whole of the sub-district was called Harmancık.
