Horasan
The first settlement traces of the district bear traces of the Copper Stone Age and the Chalcolithic period. It is thought to shed light on the history of the region until 4000 BC. Horasan, which has a strategic importance with its East-West connection with the old silk road, is one of the very old settlements and settlements where civilizational developments took place. Horasan district is surrounded by Kars in the north and east, Ağrı provinces in the southeast, Karayazı in the south, Köprüköy and Pasinler in the west, and Narman in the northwest.
