İncesu
İncesu is located approximately 30 kilometers southwest of Kayseri. It lies to the north of Kayseri, to the east of Melikgazi and Hacılar, and to the southeast of Develi. The main road D-805 from Kayseri to Ulukışla passes through the city and the district in a north-south direction. The district is located at the northern end of the Hodul Mountain mountain range. In the northwest, the Kocasinan border follows the Kızılırmak River. There is a dried Desert Lake in the south, Sarı Lake in the southeast, and İncesu Dam in the west of the district. There is the Kışla Stream, which flows through the district and empties into Kızılırmak in the north. At the beginning of the 20th century, some Greeks still lived in İncesu. Most of them went with the Turkish-Greek Population Exchange. The Kara Mustafapaşa Caravanserai, built by Kara Mustafa Pasha in 1660, is located in İncesu.
