İspir
İspir and its surroundings are on the natural and historical roads that connect Eastern Anatolia to the Eastern Black Sea coasts and the Caucasus and used for military and commercial purposes in various periods of history. Especially the many castles and garrisons on the Serçeme Strait-İspir route show that this is a main road that has been used for a long time. In addition to this, İspir has received immigration from its surroundings due to being suitable for agriculture and animal husbandry. İspir got its name from Sasper.
