Karkamış
Although Karkamış is the least developed district of Gaziantep in terms of industry, it has an important place in terms of its location as it houses the Syrian-Turkish border gates within the district. The lands of the district are suitable for agriculture. Karkamış district is very lucky in terms of water because the district is close to the Euphrates river and water channels pass through it. The majority of the people are Turkmen and Arabs.
