Kurtalan

Kurtalan district is located in the Tigris Section of the Southeastern Anatolia Region, which is one of the seven geographical regions of the country. Kurtalan, which is administratively a district of Siirt Province, is surrounded by Siirt Merkez District in the east, Beşiri District in the west, Hasankeyf District in the southwest and Baykan District in the north. The district center, which is the last station of the Haydarpaşa-Kurtalan railway line, is also on the road connecting Siirt to Batman and therefore Diyarbakır. Here you can visit the historical places of Ulu Stream and Erzen Ruins.
