Laçin

Laçin is a district of Çorum province. Before Laçin became a district, it was a village consisting of two parts, Büyüklaçin and Küçüklaçin. It became a district on May 20, 1990. In the district, which has a transition climate between the Black Sea climate and the continental climate in Turkey, the winters are cold and the summers are hot and dry. Precipitation is usually in the spring. Average annual precipitation is 530.2 mm. The extensions of Köse Mountain and Ifci Mountain, located in the south of the district, are forested.
