Posof
Posof is a district of Ardahan province and is the center of this district. Its name in the Ottoman period was Poshov and this name was changed to Posof in 1929. The district is located on the Turkey-Georgia border; Türkgözü Border Gate is within the borders of the district. The town of Posof today consists of two neighborhoods.
