Selendi

It was established in 1954 with the decision numbered 6324. It is located 155 km from Manisa and 70 km from Uşak. Selendi Stream, one of the important branches of the Gediz River, passes through the district borders. The main source of livelihood is tobacco farming, animal husbandry and agriculture. In addition, cherry growing has increased in the villages of Pınarlar, Eskin, Terziler, Kürkçü and Hacıhaliller in recent years. Kınık neighborhood picnic area, Gavur houses, rock tombs, Bayraklı monument are places to visit in Selendi. The population of the center is 8,108. Its total population, including its villages, is 26,500.
