Şişli

Şişli, which was separated from Beyoğlu in 1954 and became a district, also included Kağıthane until 1987. The district was divided into two with the separation of Kağıthane and there was no connection between the two parts. In 2012, it was decided to connect the northern part to Sarıyer district, and in 2014 it was officially connected to Sarıyer. The neighbors of the district are Kağıthane in the north and west; Beşiktaş in the east; Beyoğlu is in the south.
