Sivrice
Sivrice is the town of Elazığ, located on the shores of Lake Hazar. Its population is 10,710 people. It was established in the village of Dedeyolu in February 1936, upon the instructions of Atatürk. In 1938, it was transferred to its current location, the shore of Lake Hazar. Although the establishment date of the district is not very old, there is an old settlement on the islet in the lake and its continuation. It has not been determined exactly who lived on what date. There is a ruined monastery on the islet, followed by the remains of houses and other structures in the water, most of which are intact. In the district of Sivrice, which has been an important tourism center of the surrounding provinces in recent years and has made progress on its way to becoming an important tourism center, there are promenade places and tent city places where the people can take a daily vacation during the summer months.
