Tefenni
The district of Tefenni was established as the Istefani village of the Byzantine era between 800-500 BC, remained under Byzantine rule until the 13th century, and from this date on, it passed into the hands of the Turkmens, the Seljuk Dynasty and the Ottomans. Due to the earthquake that occurred in the region in 1882, the old settlement center was abandoned and established in its current place, and in 1886, the name of Stefani was changed and it became a district with the name Tefenni.
