Uğurludağ

Uğurludağ is a district of Çorum province. The first name of Uğurludağ is Kızılören. While Kızılören was a village affiliated to İskilip until 1929, it was converted into a township due to its population on this date and connected to İskilip again. In 1954, it was named Uğurludağ after the Urlu Mountain behind it, and it became a municipality in 1969 and a district in 1987, and became an independent district.
