Yakutiye
Yakutiye is one of the central districts forming the city center of Erzurum province in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. It is adjacent to Tortum in the north, Aziziye, Palandöken in the west and Pasinler in the east. Yakutiye Madrasa, located in the city center and named after its architect because it was built by Hoca Yakut Gazani in 1310 during the Ilkhanate period, attracts the attention of local and foreign guests with its plan layout, balanced architecture and large motif decorations.
