Yenişehir
Yenişehir Municipality is one of the 4 big districts located in the center of Diyarbakır. Yenişehir District is one of the four new central districts of Diyarbakır Province, located in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey, with a population of 214,831 according to the results of the Address Based Population Registration System of the Turkish Statistical Institute in 2020. The borders of Yenişehir District are drawn with Sur in the south, Bağlar in the west, Kayapınar, Ergani and Eğil Districts in the northwest.
