Ardeşen Tunca Formulaz Festival
In the early 1900s in the town of Tunca in Rize's Ardeşen district, there were wooden carts that village children played with. When I say they played, I mean that these cars were big enough to carry them and fast enough to go down the slopes at full speed. They did not have engines, they were moved by human power and the force of gravity! Years later, in 2009, the young people of the Esentepe neighborhood came together, organized a festival and rode their wooden cars. And then Formulaz was born!
