Yoruk Turkmen Festival Area

Yörüks, who have shaped the rich cultural texture of Anatolia for centuries, constitute an important part of Turkish culture with their nomadic lifestyle. Antalya is one of the cities where the most vivid examples of this ancient culture are experienced and undertakes the task of transferring this rich cultural heritage to future generations. This year, with the 3rd International Antalya Yoruk Turkmen Festival, we aim to bring together all the colours of Yoruk culture and carry this important heritage to future generations.

Our festival will be held between 13-15 September 2024 at the Döşemealtı Düzlerçamı location Karaman Picnic Area surrounded by the unique natural beauties of Antalya. In our festival, you will experience moments full of enthusiasm with local music and dance performances from all over the Turkish World, admire the works of the masters of handicrafts that are about to be forgotten, taste the flavours of traditional Turkish cuisine and experience the excitement of traditional sports competitions.
