Espiye City Forest
The city forest, which is 7 km away from Espiye, provides the opportunity to see Espiye city center from one side and Keşap city from the other side. Watching the magnificent view of the forest and the sea from the observation terrace in the city forest almost dazzles our eyes. The urban forest, which contains chestnut, hornbeam, alder, rhododendron, shepherd's tassel, lycapa, wild hazelnut species, breathes for its visitors. This area, which can be described as a paradise hidden in nature, has unfortunately been left to decay due to lack of interest and neglect. The environment is unkempt and garbage has not been cleaned, the stairs of the watchtower in the forest are broken and rotten, even the tree poles that keep the structure standing are about to collapse, the camellias in the forest are broken, the signboard of the facility has been removed and taken down. Using the available resources and using them to the extent that they are preserved means that the labor, time and expense invested in these places will not be wasted.
